Authorizer

The role of an authorizer is to ensure the schools it authorizes fulfills the agreed upon terms of the charter contract, in order to safeguard quality educational opportunities for students, and maintain public trust and confidence.

Vermilion Country School is authorized by the Audubon Center of the North Woods.

The mission of the Audubon Center of the North Woods (ACNW) is to ensure quality academic and environmental literacy outcomes for students in Minnesota by instilling a connection and commitment to the environment in which people of all communities through experiential learning. The vision of ACNW is a healthy planet where all people live in balance with the Earth.
